Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and what happens to it.

Messages and emails

When you write through the contact form, or email info@, orders@ or news@laricaschnell.com, we keep your name, email address and messages so Larica can read them and reply. We use them only to answer you and never sell or share them for marketing. You can ask for your messages to be deleted at any time.

Orders

Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never seen or stored by us. For each order we keep your name, email address, shipping address and what you bought, so we can ship it, help if something goes wrong with it, and keep the sales records the law requires. The same applies to sales at open studios and events.

Shipping and address suggestions

To price and send your order, we share your name, shipping address, phone number and email with our shipping service, Shippo, and the carrier that delivers it (such as UPS, USPS, FedEx or DHL); parcels going abroad also carry a customs form. When you type your address in the cart, it’s sent to Google to suggest matching addresses and check that it exists. Your approximate area, worked out from your internet connection, is used only to show nearby addresses first, and isn’t stored.

Emails we send you

If you order, we email you about that order: a confirmation and receipt, shipping and tracking details, and a check that it arrived safely. If you write to us, we reply. These emails are sent through our email provider, Resend. We don’t send you marketing unless you sign up for the newsletter yourself.

Newsletter

If you sign up for the newsletter, your email address is kept by our newsletter service, Kit, and used only to send you news of new work and exhibitions. You’re only added once you confirm by clicking the link we email you. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes you off the list straight away.

Cookies and your cart

We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Your cart and the shipping address you enter are saved only in your own browser, so they’re still there when you come back.

Visitor statistics

To understand which works people look at and how the shop is doing, the site counts visits itself, without cookies. It notes the page, the site you came from, your country and whether you’re on a phone, tablet or computer. You’re identified only by a scrambled code that changes every day, so you can’t be recognised from one day to the next, and your IP address isn’t stored. These statistics are never shared or sold, and the detailed records are deleted after 13 months.

Hosting and spam protection

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes basic technical information (such as your IP address) to deliver pages securely and to keep spam out of the contact form and our inboxes.
